All of the objects on this site are cloned from Maxis originals, either from The Sims or Livin' Large. These objects are thoroughly checked & tested before being offered for download, however, you should be aware that any "user made" objects could cause conflicts with your game. To make sure that there are no problems with my objects PLEASE TEST THEM!

Hi! I'm Karen, the owner & webmistress of Mrs Sims. I also answer to the name of Yankeebrat, which has been my Sims Community name for the past several years. Many of you may know me from N99, where I have been know to hang out from time to time.

I live in New England (USA) with my husband, two kids, three cats & a goldfish. I'm 36 years old, but with the way my health has been lately, I feel like I'm 86! I spend my days trying to educate & entertain a large group of energetic 3 & 4 year old Preschoolers & my nights trying to find enough time & energy to juggle daily life! There's never enough of either to go around!

I spent many grueling hours scouring The Sims community forums studying the how to's of object making & skinning. I'm not even embarrassed to say that I have pulled out my fair share of hair (most of them were already turning gray) & popped a few blood vessels in the process of trying to figure it out!

I am a perfectionist at heart, but I certainly do not claim to be an expert, by any means! I'm know that there is plenty more to learn, as I haven't even delved into the 3D object making world. I'm sure that you will find that my things are not "perfect", but I try my best! I strive for quality, not quantity.

You'll have to bear with me as far as updates go & remember that it's just lil' old me making stuff & not a huge design team! Updates may not be like clockwork, but they will happen.

If you like my things, feel free to put a post in the Site Feedback section of my forum to let me know! If you don't like them, please spare my sensitive soul & remember what your mother taught you (or should have): "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all!" With that being said, I would like to hear constructive criticism. If I've managed to foul something up that you'd like fixed, please put a post in the Site Feedback section of my forum to let me know!

I don't feel that it would be fair to take requests, since my capabilities & time are limited, but I don't mind suggestions! If there's something that you're just dying to have, just put a post in the Suggestion Box section of my forum. Who knows? If I feel that it's something that I can & would like to do, I just might be willing to make it!

This is a file sharing friendly site. Please feel free to share any of the download items that you find on this site with your fellow Simmers. All I ask is that you keep the zip files as they were when you downloaded them. They may contain important credits, links and/or instructions. I encourage people to use the Preservation Of Bandwidth Society forum at N99 for sharing files!
